When nursing in public, put your Cover on over your normal clothing, cradle your baby in your arm, lift the Cover over your baby, and then prepare to breastfeed by lifting or lowering your shirt and unhooking your nursing bra. Then lift the baby to your breast and help him or her latch on properly. For new moms, practice at home with your Cover over normal clothing in front of a mirror. For maximum coverage of exposed skin when lifting your blouse for nursing, slide the Cover to whichever side baby is nursing from so your side and tummy are covered as well, if you wish.
The wide neckline allows you to ‘peek’ at baby while nursing and allows you to slide the Cover higher or lower over your body, depending on your upper body size.
